2011 was a great year for the Southern Stampede, almost a rebirth. A positive, winning team culture had returned this culture was ignited every time the boys touched the ice in front of our amazing fans.

“Join The Charge” is the catch phrase for the Southern Stampede supporters and this has continued to be true with the team getting a minimum of 450 people to all the games through out the 8 home games in 2011, this was only restricted by the capacity of the Stampede’s home rink the Queenstown Ice Arena.

If you're in Auckland on the 16th and 17th June, be sure to head to Paradice Botany to support the Stampede in their first double header of the season against their arch rivals, the Botany Swarm!
